Sheep Checking
I’m on a rota for checking
a flock of Hebridean sheep which are ‘conservation grazing’ in a wildflower
meadow at Bishopthorpe, on the edge of York. Today it was my turn, so I counted
them, checked their condition, made sure they had water, the electric fence was
working and the other fences were in good order. Thankfully, everything was OK
and we have 20 happy sheep.
